Intended Use

【expected usage】

This kit is used for the in vitro qualitative detection of the novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) N protein antigen in individuals with symptoms of novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19). This kit is suitable for individuals aged 18-70 years. Individuals under the age of 18 should use it with the help of a guardian. The test results of this kit should not be used as the only basis for diagnosing or excluding novel coronavirus infection.

Product features

This reagent uses immunochromatography technology and uses highly sensitive antibodies to detect the N protein of the new coronavirus.

For testing, a nasal swab sample is collected from the patient or under observation by a supervisor, and then inserted into a sample extraction tube. Use your fingers to squeeze the villi part of the swab on the outside of the tube wall 5 times, then add 3 drops of the treated sample to the sample hole of the test card. After waiting 15~20 minutes, read the test results. If the sample contains the new coronavirus (2019-nCoV) antigen, a color line will appear in the detection area (T), and the test result is positive at this time; on the contrary, if the sample does not contain viral antigen or the antigen concentration is lower than the minimum detection limit, then If no color reaction line appears in the detection area (T), the test result is negative at this time.

No matter whether the sample contains viral antigen or not, a color reaction line will appear in the quality control area (C), otherwise the test will be invalid. The color reaction line appearing in the quality control area (C) is the standard for determining whether the chromatography process is normal.
